Fangoria were the first to unleash the teaser poster for Texas Chainsaw 3D, the TCM sequel/reboot which appears to have dropped “the” and “Massacre” from its title.
The film, which–to absolutely no one’s surprise, was recently rated R, follows Heather, a young woman who travels to Newt, Texas, the site of the original massacre, upon learning that she has inherited some property from a grandmonther she has never known. In addition to a sprawling mansion, however, she may have been left something far more terrifying.
I’m thinking an uncle she’s never known, one who enjoys wearing faces and wielding chainsaws.
Texas Chainsaw 3D is set for a January, 2013 release. An official trailer should hit sometime next month.
